1. How to Make a Reservation
To make a reservation for a passenger or vehicle, you must obtain a manual booking at the Lax Kw'alaams Band Office or create an online reservation in our system to receive a QR ticket. 2. Standby Procedure
To be contacted when space becomes available, you must create an account in our system.
3. Vehicle Lineup Procedures
- Vehicles with reservations must be at the ferry dock and in the lineup at least 20 minutes before the scheduled sailing time.
- Failure to line up at least 20 minutes before the scheduled sailing time may result in the termination of your reservation, considered a 'no-show,' and you will be charged the ferry fee.
4. Policies
- No-Show Policy: If you have a reservation and do not show up, you will be required to pay the ferry fee. Further bookings will not be permitted until this fee is paid.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled sailing time by calling the reservation clerk. Failure to cancel your reservation 72 hours in advance will result in no refund.
5. Miscellaneous Rules
All vehicles with reservations that have lined up at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing time will be loaded onto the ferry, with the following exceptions:
- Emergency vehicles (e.g., ambulance, police) will be given priority.
- Vehicles with reservations that exceed weight or dimension limitations.
- The Captain, at their sole discretion, may refuse any vehicle or passenger in accordance with their authority under Transport Canada regulations.
